A Note from the Author
At seventeen, while washing dishes at my mother’s kitchen sink, I quietly said yes to Jesus. I had no idea how much I would need Him later as I navigated abandonment, divorce, panic attacks, and the reality of raising my children solo. For years I wondered what was wrong with me, why I couldn’t seem to build the life I had dreamed of. Yet through every dark valley, God kept gently pursued my heart.
Courage to Believe was born out of that journey. It’s the devotional I wish I’d had when I was awake at 3:00 AM, when I was afraid of the bills, or when shame and grief made me feel small. I wrote these 21 days to help you name your feelings, sit with Scripture in real-life context, and begin to see your story through the lens of God’s unshakeable love. You’re not an afterthought to Him—you are a dearly loved daughter.
